My Most Recent Adventure...

... Has not been a fun one. My Facebook followers already know about this, but I may or may not have broken my left smallest toe recently.

I was tidying up my bedroom in a bit of a rush, and in going to grab some dishes off my computer desk, I hella stubbed my toe against the metal leg of my dresser. Pictured below is my current set-up, just to show how much room I've got (without the desk chair).

It swelled up pretty spectacularly, and turned some very vibrant colours. It hurt to walk on for a few days, couldn't move much, and was tender to touch.

I'm currently on day five, and it's mostly better. I can't put all my weight on it yet, and there's still a gnarly bruise, but it's getting better at a steady pace. I can bend it and flex it now without much pain, though it's still uncomfortable to do so. The swelling is mostly if not completely gone, and the bruise is beginning to turn yellowish green, which is a sign of progress.

I'd estimate I have about another week before I'm 100% again.
